Edenbridge will record a live DVD at the "Building a Force"-Festival on the 20th of March 2004 in the "Stadthalle Widdern" (near Heilbronn/Germany). More to this soon.

Sabine will fly to England in July to record one song for the next Power Quest album. The recordings take place in the Thin Ice studios of Karl Groom (Threshold) and Clive Noland (Arena, Pendragon).

Mike Koren (Visions of Atlantis) will play the bass on the upcoming Edenbridge tour.

Sabine has just recorded 2 songs ("To believe enough to fight", "The Pagan Dream") for the project "Once and future kings" by Gary Hughes (Ten), a concept album dealing with the Artus legend. Sabine takes the role of Nimue. "To believe enough to fight" is a duet with Bob Catley (Magnum). Additional notable musicians are: Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon), Lana Lane, Harry Hess (Harem Scarem) and D.C. Cooper (Silent Force).

Lanvall is currently working on his 4th solo album called "Emocean". The CD should be finished till summer 2003 and will be very orchestral and symphonic. More news will follow soon.

"Aphelion" will hit the streets on January 27.

The album will be released as a limited CD with 3D-hologram-cover with bonus track "The Whispering Gallery", as a limited double-vinyl LP, also with bonus track and as a normal CD. D.C.Cooper (ex-Royal Hunt, Silent Force) appears as a special guest on the 9 minute long track "Red Ball In Blue Sky" as duet partner with Sabine.

The Brazilian Tour was cancelled due to the enormous devaluation of the Brazilian currency. The momentary plan is that Edenbridge will tour in Brazil in April 2003. (Read a comment of Lanvall about the cancellation....)

Bass player Kurt Bednarsky has left Edenbridge. Kurt made the decision in december 2001. A big "Thank you" to Kurt and we wish you all the best in your future life !!!

Edenbridge have just returned from their successful tour in Korea. The first show took place at the "International Busan Rock Festival" in front of 20.000 screaming maniacs. The show was broadcasted on a cabel-channel in whole Asia. The second show was a club show with Sinergy in Seoul and was also a big success for the band.

Edenbridge will play in Brazil in October for the first time. There are two shows planned, one in Sao Paolo and one in Rio de Janeiro. More news and dates will follow soon.

The date for the Edenbridge gig at Seoul/Korea is confirmed at 6th June 2002. It's a Korean national holiday called 'Korean Memorial Day' and the double headliner show with the Finnish band Sinergy is called 'Queen Of The Night'.

Edenbridge will play live in Korea in June for the first time. One show will be at the legendary "Busan Rock Festival" from the 1st to 3rd of June. It's a ceremonial event for the soccer worldcup 2002 in Korea and Japan. A headliner club show in Seoul will follow. Dates will be confirmed soon.

Today Infinity will be released by Drakkar Records. This is the project of Argentinian Beto Vazquez. Sabine can be heard on the tracks Wizard (lyrics and vocallines by Lanvall), The Laws Of The Future and Promises Under The Rain. Also part of the project are: Tarja Turunen (Nightwish), Candice Night (Blackmore's Night), Fabio Leone (Rhapsody / Vision Divine), Jörg Michael (Stratovarius).

Arcana was album of the month in Flash magazine (Italy) and Hard'n Heavy magazine (France).

New concert dates.

The new Edenbridge-album "Arcana" will be released November, the 12th as CD, limited Digipack-CD and limited double LP.

Dennis Ward also took over the mix of the second Edenbridge production "Arcana". The mix takes place in the House of Audio Studios right now and will probably be finished on September 7th.

Edenbridge started the recordings for their upcoming CD "Arcana" in the House of Audio Studios. A daily studio report of Lanvall you find H E R E.

Edenbridge will support Nightwish in Vienna (Planet Music) on the 6th of August.

At 25th of July 2001 "Sunrise In Eden" will be released by Sade Records in Mexico.

"Sunrise In Eden" will be released officially in the United States by Sensory Records/Laser's Edge on the 5th of June.

Edenbridge definitely will enter the House Of Audio studios in Karlsdorf/Germany in July to record the second album "Arcana". The mix is planned for late August. The approximate release date will be November 2001.

"Sunrise In Eden" will be released officially in Brazil by Hellion Records soon.

In Italy's "Flash"-magazine the readers voted Edenbridge on position 2 of "Newcomer of the year".

Sabine recorded the song "Watergoddess" for the "Missa Mercuria" rock opera in the House Of Audio studio, Lanvall added some additional guitar fills.

Lanvall will play as a guest musician on 5 songs of the 20 years anniversary concert of Gandalf on the 16th of March at Ronacher in Vienna. Another guest will be Steve Hackett (ex-Genesis).

The readers of "Rock Hard" elected Edenbridge to the 8th position of the voting "newcomer of the year".

"Sunrise In Eden" was released in Taiwan by Magnum Music Co. Ltd. on 1st February 2001.

Guitarist Georg Edelmann has left the band for job reasons. Edenbridge like to wish Georg all the best for his future. The new guitar-player is Andreas Eibler, a friend of the band of many years.

"Sunrise In Eden" was released in Japan by King Records on December 21 (KICP760).

Edenbridge appear on the compilation CD "Ladies, Queens and Sluts, Volume 2" with the track "Holy Fire".

"Sunrise In Eden" was released in Korea by Dream On Records in December 2000 (DOR43349-1).

"Sunrise In Eden" noted position 13 in the Japanese import charts.
